December musings II

Usually year-ends are time to slow down, unwind and take stock of the previous 12 months. A time to take leave from work and enjoy the festive season.

Unfortunately, this is not the case for me.

Year-end is like a busy period for me. Heck, it is busy from December till March. So instead of winding down, I am gearing up.

Besides the more than usual workload, I have been loading up in kilograms too. Aargh!

No time to take in the festive mood of Orchard. Or to take advantage of the Christmas sales.

Since Nyk is coming down next week for a very short trip, it will definitely help brighten things up for me. Yay to that.

*hugs

I was contemplating on going down to Singapore for New Year or something. But guess next time unless I decided on it last minute. :P

Same here lah. Peak period from last week of Dec till end of March. Sucky. I just wish Singapore regulators would just change the financial year end submission to June, instead of Dec. Then, peak period would be from June to Sep, which is perfect since very few holiday then and no festive season. As at now, Christmas, New Year and Chinese New Year are ruined.

Lucky you. Get to see Nyk, even for a short while. Oh, sorry. Backtrack a bit: lucky you. You have Nyk :-)

I'll likely be having a miserable Christmas back home. So, remember: things could be worse.

Merry Christmas!

Ps: Nyk's suggestion of marking by sex romp is excellent ;-)
